The Timeline Pages that are up are ready to go! I’m posting them as I complete them. Maybe I should remove the “under revision” label?? :)

If doing a portable “binder” type or spiral sketch pad type timeline, explain what you use?
Examples, 3 ring binder with page protectors, spiral bound sketchbook etc? If buying a sketchbook, how many pages would I need for all 4 volumes? I’d love to hear how you all do your portable timelines for Mystery of History. Thank you in advance for all replies.

Great question–Yes! I’d love to hear what everyone does as well!

You have hit on my current dilemma! We did a wall timeline for the first 2 volumes, but are transitioning to a binder version. I really like the idea of being able to lay out the timeline on the floor and see it all at once, so I made an accordion style timeline that has hole punches on one end with reinforcers. Our problem has been that in more recent history there are WAY more figures to cram in. We have run out of room! I started printing my figures at about 60% size, but still don’t have enough space. This week I will be exploring my options to try to make it all fit. I am making a timeline figure sticker set and will develop a timeline to fit my stickers. The timeline sheets available to print here on my website include 61 pages–years 4000 B.C. to present. I’ll create a new post once I get mine ironed out :)

I also wanted to let you know how we are using these. We are currently doing MOH vol 1. I have 10, 8, 5, 4 year old kids. My youngest get the large coloring pages to complete while we read. The oldest two use the timeline figures as a color, cut and pate picture for the top of the notes. I color and cut out the ones for our timeline on the wall. We love it!

Thanks so much for these! Which version or year of MOH are these for? I have 2006 discs and they aren’t exact. :) Thanks so much!

This set (Vol 1) should work with MOH 1. They won’t match up figure for figure, because they are made to fit with a variety of programs. However, they should include all the figures you require for that curriculum. Thanks for the comment! Let me know if I can clear up anything else. :)

Thanks! Are the years just on MOH to copy on to these then? I didn’t know if you had an update with years on them. :) These have been so wonderful for my family, thank you!

Somehow I missed this comment earlier. I left the years off for flexibility of different curriculums. Personally, we do write the years on the figures before cutting them out.

hello, I’m having difficulty with printing. We have used your timeline figures last year and never had a problem with printing them off as we go. Starting a new year and last night I couldn’t get them to print. I even tried downloading the whole file. Now, my computer does some crazy thing so it might be on my end, but thought I would check on your end as well. Thanks!

Hi! I’m sorry that you are having trouble printing! I took a look at the website, and it all looks like it is running ok. I’m wondering if the full image pops up when you click on the thumbnail? Is there a certain page that’s giving you problems? I’d be happy to try to figure out what’s going on—maybe any error messages you are getting would help? Hope we can get if figured out!
